Shepherd International Education (SIE) in Seoul is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 1 Homeroom Teacher to join our team starting August 11, 2025.

SIE offers a globally-minded learning environment that blends the Common Core State Standards with immersive English instruction, multilingual development, and a strong foundation in Korean culture.

🔷 Position Overview 📍 Location: Seoul, South Korea
🎓 Grade Level: 1st Grade
🕒 Working Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:30AM–4:30PM or 8AM–5PM
👥 Class Size: 10–16 students
💼 Team: 30+ experienced and supportive educators

📌 Requirements

Currently residing in Korea

Hold an F-type visa or Korean citizenship

Eligible to register with the Ministry of Education

Background in early years education preferred

💡 Benefits & Compensation

Starting salary: from 2.8M KRW/month (negotiable based on experience & education)

Housing support: School-provided housing or a 500,000 KRW allowance (for foreign nationals)

Vacations: National holidays, 4 personal/sick days, and seasonal breaks (summer, winter, spring)

Lunch: Free cafeteria meals

Insurance: Full national insurance + severance pay

Schedule: Teach max 5 out of 7 periods; additional after-school club optional

Professional Development: Initial training + 2 PD days per year
