Job Description:
We are urgently seeking enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated ESL teachers to join kindergarten(s) across Hanoi. You will be responsible for teaching English to children aged 18 months to 6 yearsthrough play-based, immersive, and developmentally appropriate activities . Each class is supported by a Vietnamese teaching assistant, and curriculum resources are provided. The ideal candidate has a genuine love for young learners, high energy, and cultural adaptability .
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging ESL lessons focusing on speaking, listening, phonics, and basic literacy.
Use play-based, music, movement, and interactive activities to maintain student engagement .
Collaborate with Vietnamese co-teachers and teaching assistants to manage classrooms of 20–25 students .
Conduct weekly check-ins and quarterly assessments of student progress.
Participate in school events (e.g., Halloween, Christmas, Tet, Mid-Autumn Festival) and parent-teacher meetings .
Maintain a safe, purposeful, and positive learning environment

Mandatory Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in any field (Early Childhood Education or related field strongly preferred) .
TEFL Certification: Minimum 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent .
Citizenship: Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa (visa requirement) .
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching English to very young learners (kindergarten, daycare, or preschool) .
Background Check: Clean criminal record check (issued within 6 months) .
Health Certificate: Medical check certifying fitness to work (issued within 12 months) .
Availability: Able to start within 2–4 weeks of offer acceptance.
Preferred Skills:
Strong classroom management with positive reinforcement approaches .
Familiarity with early childhood pedagogy (emergent literacy, Montessori, or play-based learning) .
Experience with Oxford International Curriculum (OIC) or similar is a plus .
Ability to create engaging digital/interactive resources .
Compensation & Salary:
Monthly Salary: $1,500 – $2,000+ USD (approx. 30–50 million VND) depending on qualifications, experience, and hours .
Hourly Rate: Up to 600,000 – 650,000 VND per hour for part-time or overload hours .
Contract Completion Bonus: One month's salary or performance-based bonus upon successful contract completion .
Annual Pay Raise: Yearly salary review and increase .
